To find your current crafting skill, open your inventory in Ark and check the crafting skill on your character. Put this value in the 1st aisle. 

For primitive blueprint value, open your engrams and check the armor or damage for the basic version of the item you want to craft.

In the last aisle, put the blueprint armor or damage which you want to improve by crafting it.

Most saddles can't reach more than 124 armor and weapons cap at 298 damage.
