Palaeoctopus [PvP Cross]

A massive, intelligent cephalopod perfectly suited for both aquatic combat and utility work. Thanks to its chromatic camouflage, it can ambush unsuspecting targets and grip them with two crushing tentacles at once, while its powerful beak tears through even the toughest armor.
If threatened underwater, it can fire off a burst from its siphon to blast enemies back and make a fast escape. Its tentacles also let it climb steep cliffs, though it moves much more slowly once on land.
Once tamed, a Palaeoctopus becomes an endless source of ink in any color you want, and it's a great climbing companion for scaling walls or boarding moving ships and platforms. Tough both in and out of the water, just make sure to hang on if it uses its jet propulsion!
