The dedicated storage is THE BEST way to store items, once placed in a dedi you can view how much of a resource etc you have up to 1800 slots.
You can also L1 300 slots or anything regardless of weight, this makes it incredibly easy to farm when used alongside a stryder which can link directly to the dedi box and store the materials as you farm them.
